Magistrates who are intended to commence in the Children’s Court will be assigned by the President of the Children’s Court in consultation with the Chief Magistrate. Magistrates are required to serve at a regional Court for a minimum of two years.
The Victorian Government is committed to ensuring that Victoria’s courts and tribunals reflect the rich diversity of the Victorian community. Adjustments to the recruitment process can be accommodated upon request. If your application progresses, we invite you to discuss how we can support you through the recruitment process.
