Multicultural Victoria
Multicultural Victoria is proposed to be established under the Multicultural Victoria Act 2011 (the Act) as amended to provide renewed, unified and coordinated leadership to multicultural affairs.
Multicultural Victoria will work in partnership with Victoria's diverse multicultural and multifaith communities and will bring together the community engagement, policy and program delivery functions activity areas that drive the Victorian Government's multicultural policy agenda and commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaged multicultural community and a sense of belonging across Victoria. Multicultural Victoria will also have a strong whole of Victorian Government (WOVG) focus in recognition that all portfolios play an important role in multicultural community outcome.
Multicultural Victoria will be responsible for a new WOVG multicultural strategy and reporting framework, have oversight over its implementation, and play a critical role in giving voice to communities and undertaking grassroots community engagement across Victoria to influence policy and program outcomes.

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking individual to join our leadership team as Multicultural Victoria’s Deputy Coordinator-General. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving major priorities for multicultural and multifaith communities, meaningful engagement and delivering outcomes that make a difference for communities across Victoria.
This is a leadership position in Multicultural Victoria, a proposed new entity that will bring together community engagement, policy and program delivery for communities.
The Deputy Coordinator-General will work closely with the Multicultural Coordinator-General to provide strategic leadership across a broad portfolio of projects, programs and policy initiatives to benefit multicultural and multifaith communities.
