About the board
The Electric Line Clearance Consultative Committee is established under section 87 of the Electricity Safety Act 1998 primarily to advise Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) on the preparation and maintenance of the Code of Practice for Electric Line Clearance. Committee meetings are typically held remotely or at a Melbourne-based location on a quarterly basis.
About the role
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action is seeking expressions of interest for a member of the Electric Line Clearance Consultative Committee (ELCCC) for a three-year term, proposed to commence in June 2023.
Applicants who are private landowners and/or have interests and/or skills in the following are particularly encouraged to apply:
- private land ownership;
- local government;
- environmental or planning expertise.
