About the board:
The Homes Victoria Advisory Board (Board) is established under section 11A of the Housing Act 1983. The Board provides strategic advice to the Minister for Housing and Building and the Chief Executive Officer, Homes Victoria.
The Board strengthens and enhances Homes Victoria’s governance and oversight mechanisms. The Board is independent and accountable to the Minister for Housing and Building. As a non-binding advisory body, the Board has no formal decision-making or own motion powers or responsibilities over policy, service delivery or public funds.
The selection and remuneration of appointees to the Homes Victoria Advisory Board is in accordance with the Victorian Government’s Appointment and Remuneration Guidelines.
About the role
The Homes Victoria Advisory Board is seeking a Member with direct experience in housing and homelessness services delivered within the Mornington Peninsula. The Member will support the provision of strategic advice to the Minister for Housing and Building and the Chief Executive Officer, Homes Victoria.

The Member must have experience in housing and homelessness services delivered within the Mornington Peninsula. Applicants currently living within the Mornington Peninsula are desired.
