Agriculture Victoria Services Pty Ltd (AVS) is the commercial arm of the Victorian Government's Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) providing services to Agriculture Victoria Research.

Responsible to the Minister for Agriculture, the AVS Board leads the governance, strategic planning and risk management for this dynamic, impact-driven organisation. The Board comprises six directors, including the chairperson.
AVS is now seeking two exceptional leaders to join this dynamic and technical skills-based board. The term of office for the pending director vacancies is three (3) years, with the term expiring on 31 May 2029.

Directors are appointed to the Board for a term of up to three-years, with eligibility for reappointment, and are expected to actively contribute as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee or board subcommittees. The Board will meet at least 6 times in 2026.
Preferred applicants will be required to provide a Declaration of Private Interest and Diversity information, and will undergo standard probity checks, including a National Criminal Record Check, Australian Securities and Investment Commission register check and Australian Financial Security Authority and National Personal Insolvency Index check.
